Puppy Health Guarantee Agreement

Seller warrants this puppy to be in good health at time of delivery/pickup. Puppy will be up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming at time of delivery/pickup.

Buyer is to have puppy examined within 72 hours of sale by a veterinarian well experienced in the breed. If the veterinarian does not find the puppy to be in good health as outlined in this guarantee and states so in writing, buyer must notify seller immediately. Seller reserves the right to have the puppy re-examined by his veterinarian at his cost. If diagnosis is confirmed by his veterinarian, seller will resume possession. If buyer chooses to be refunded, the purchase price of the puppy only will be the amount refunded. The seller shall not pay for any veterinarian bills incurred after the time of the sale. The puppy is guaranteed against congenital or hereditary defects limited to heart, kidneys, and liver that lead to euthanasia or death until the puppy reaches 12 months of age. Cherry Eye, Eye Entropion, and Hernias of any kind are not life threatening and are not covered in this guarantee. Our veterinarian must be notified prior to Euthanasia. A replacement puppy shall be provided at the time of availability. No money will be refunded. If buyer fails to have puppy checked out as outlined, buyer agrees that puppy is sold as is.

Although a concerted effort has been made by the seller to breed sound, healthy puppies. Buyer must understand that due to the nature of some breeds, puppies are predisposed to certain medical abnormalities and that normal puppies may have one or more of these conditions during its lifetime. Minor breed related, treatable, or correctable conditions that may go away or are considered to be a conditions which the puppy will likely grow out of, are not covered.

This puppy is sold as Pet Quality only. No guarantee as to adult size, color, conformation, hair texture, dropping of testicles or suitability of breeding.

There is no guarantee against Demodectic Mange, Fleas, Worms, Coccidia, Giardia, Hot Spots, or Dermatitis due to the recurring nature. They are not life threatening and are treatable. This guarantee is extended to the Original Purchaser only. seller is not responsible for problems with landlords, allergies, incompatibilities with other pets or family members, injuries of any nature, etc. Buyer is encouraged to register puppy immediately and accept advantage of free 60 day trial pet health care insurance provided by AKC (if available).

Sale is final. Deposits are non-refundable.

Regardless of the conditions and circumstances, the negotiation of this sales agreement. Buyer and seller agree that the interpretation and enforcement of this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Ohio and any legal action initiated by the buyer or seller to enforce any term, condition, or clause of this agreement shall be filed in the appropriate court in the county of Wayne of the State of Ohio.

A copy of the vet-check is to be mailed to seller immediately. This is mandatory to start your health guarantee. If buyer fails to mail his copy to seller within 10 days, then puppy has been sold as is with no guarantee of health at all.

Seller will not accept puppy exams from Banfield Clinics associated with Petsmart Stores.
